My magic is still on the fritz, which means my training with Octavia is a slow and downright embarrassing process. One I don’t really have time for, what with the brand new investigation I’ve been assigned.

Uncovering a potential poaching ring is the last thing I expected my boss to task me with, but I might as well get to the bottom of whatever is or isn't going on with the shifters.

After all, this investigation means I get to work directly with Kellen Rich. And even if the gorgeous wolf Alpha refuses to take a new mate, I’m not afraid to admit that he's nice to look at and strangely comforting to be around.

And for whatever reason, my misbehaving magic seems to agree.
